Reason of Insanity is probably in my top 5 or so favorite bands. They started in Lafayette, LA in 1999. Gulf Coast Hardcore at its fucking best! They cover "Face Down in the Dirt," by the Offenders and they do that amazing song such justice. ROI's Discog. includes splits with: D/FW's own BREAD AND WATER, Houston's RACE AGAINST TIME, SICK ABUSE (don't know where exactly they're from, but somewhere Gulf Coast), BAD EATING HABITS from Florida, I think (???) EL DESMADRE also from Houston, and a split with OTOPHOBIA. The Discog. also includes a track on the GULF COAST MASSACRE Comp., one full-length LP (amazing artwork on this baby), a Live on WMFU 7", and I think that's all. I've read online that they're going to be putting out a second full-length, "Violence" only to be pressed on 2 or 3 hundred or something.
Forgive me for most of these songs not being labeled, my computer done fucked some stuff up. But don't let that turn you away, I'm not sure how easy it is to find this stuff online (for d/l at least).
